How You Can Help
You can help by:
- Writing to, or phoning, or visiting your local councillors or TDs and
asking them to call on the government to:
- Speed up the release of the remaining prisoners in the 26 counties.
- Immediately transfer the prisoners currently held in English
jails to Ireland pending their release.
- Propose that your trade union, sports body, tenant association, students'
union or other organisation pass a motion calling for the release of the prisoners and
forward it to Leinster House and/or The British Embassy.
- Write to the British Embassy calling on them to follow the example of the
Dublin Government and release the prisoners it holds.
- Join the Saoirse Campaign.
- Wear a Green Ribbon to show your support
